The Model 1200 Super uses a Mauser 98-pattern controlled-round-feed action with an external claw extractor. It feeds from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate for convenient unloading, providing a 4+1 capacity. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and two-piece scope bases and rings are already installed.
The 24-inch blued barrel is paired with a ramped front sight on a serrated base. The front sight hood is not present, as shown in the photos. Birmingham Nitro Proof (BNP) marks confirm British proofing.
The walnut Monte Carlo stock is set up for right-handed use with a rollover cheekpiece and shadowline. It features skip-line checkering, a rosewood fore-end tip with white-line spacer, plain walnut pistol-grip terminus (no separate cap/spacer), sling swivels, and an oval white-metal name plate/inlay. The ventilated recoil pad is molded "PH ENGLAND," and length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
An installed Jana 4x32 fixed-power scope with a fine crosshair reticle sits in 1-inch rings. This simple, durable setup complements the rifle’s hunting-ready configuration without adding unnecessary complexity.
