This Model 66 represents the earlier six-shot configuration produced prior to 1999, pairing a medium-frame, full-size layout with a 4-inch barrel for balanced handling. The DA/SA action and .357 Magnum chambering offer classic revolver capability in a proven format.
The revolver is all-steel with a matte silver finish across the frame and cylinder. An exposed, checkered-spur hammer and checkered hardwood grips with Taurus medallions and an open backstrap provide a traditional control setup and firm purchase.
Sight regulation is handled by a micrometer-style adjustable rear sight matched to a serrated ramp front. A serrated top rib and a shrouded ejector rod round out the barrel assembly, giving a clean sight picture and protected ejection system.
Factory and import markings include TAURUS INT. MFG. MIAMI, FLA., MADE IN BRAZIL, and TAURUS BRASIL, with the Taurus crest on the frame. The crane/yoke is stamped with assembly number 9310, a useful production detail for tracking and documentation.
