This Model 99 is a U.S.-made lever-action chambered in .300 Savage with a hammerless action and a lever safety. The rifle retains the Model 99’s distinctive internal rotary magazine and the right-side cartridge counter window, with an internal capacity of five rounds.
The 24-inch carbon-steel barrel is paired with practical iron sights: a ramp front sight with a brass bead and a folding barrel rear sight. The barrel carries the Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts address along with factory proof markings.
The rifle is finished in blue on the barrel and receiver, complemented by a color-hardened lever. Proof markings include the Savage proof oval and "HI-PRESSURE STEEL – PROOF TESTED."
The walnut stock features cut checkering, a pistol grip with an oval grip cap, a straight comb, and sling swivel studs. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches.
An aftermarket Bushnell Trophy scope is installed using rings and a top mount/base, offering a mounted optic solution alongside the factory iron sights.
