What’s Included
- 1x 6-round steel single-stack magazine (compatible with Bauer Automatic/Baby Browning pattern)
- Sidekick nylon holster
Made in Fraser, Michigan, this Bauer Automatic follows the classic Baby Browning pattern in a micro .25 ACP format. It maintains the compact dimensions associated with the design, with a 2.1-inch barrel, an overall length of about 4.04 inches, and an unloaded weight of roughly 10 ounces. Standard capacity is 6+1.
Construction is investment-cast 416 stainless steel with hand fitting, including the slide, frame/receiver, and barrel. The stainless finish pairs with smooth pearlescent synthetic grips, creating a durable, corrosion-resistant pocket pistol with a distinctive look.
The operating system is simple blowback with a striker-fired, single-action mechanism. Controls include a heel-type magazine catch and a thumb safety that can lock the slide. The safety also has a dedicated disassembly position for takedown.
Sighting features are integral and fixed, with a machined rear notch and an integral front blade. The slide adds functional touches such as rear serrations and a top anti-glare rib for clearer sight alignment.
Bauer’s takedown system is a notable variation from the FN original: with the safety in its disassembly position, the barrel rotates approximately 45 degrees clockwise to release, the opposite direction of the Baby Browning system.
