This AirLite PD uses a two-piece barrel system with a stainless steel liner inside an alloy shroud, delivering a 4.13 in barrel length within a 9.5 in overall package. The serrated topstrap helps cut glare for a cleaner sight picture.
The scandium-alloy N-frame keeps weight to a minimum while the titanium alloy, scallop-fluted cylinder further reduces mass. Chambered in .44 Magnum, it also accepts .44 Special, and holds six rounds.
Sight regulation and visibility are well supported by the HI-VIZ fiber-optic front sight paired with an adjustable rear. The revolver runs in double-action/single-action and includes Smith & Wesson’s internal key lock safety.
Finished in matte black with a natural gray titanium cylinder, this model carries AirLite PD branding with the atom logo on the frame and is marked "SPFLD, MA S&W U.S.A." on the right side. It is manufactured in the United States and identified by S&W mfg part number 163414.
Installed Pachmayr Decelerator Gripper rubber stocks provide a secure, hand-filling hold that complements the lightweight .44 Magnum configuration.
