The long-slide format pairs a 6 in stainless barrel with a standard recoil spring plug to deliver added sight radius and a balanced cycling feel. The slide, frame, and barrel wear a uniform satin stainless finish, and overall length is approximately 9.7 in per Kimber long-slide spec.
Target sighting equipment includes a dovetailed front blade with a white dot and a fully adjustable, serrated square-notch rear. The slide features rear-only serrations and a lowered and flared ejection port for reliable case clearance.
The fire-control system centers on a match-grade, skeletonized aluminum trigger with a grooved face and overtravel adjustment, paired with a skeletonized commander-style hammer. The Series II Swartz firing pin block adds passive drop protection while maintaining a single-action 1911 trigger feel.
Ergonomics and controls are set up for confident handling: beavertail grip safety with raised pad, extended left-side thumb safety, left-side magazine release, and a checkered flat mainspring housing. Red-toned laminated wood grip panels are complemented by a black rubber wrap-around finger-groove sleeve already installed.
Manufactured in 2025 in the United States, this Stainless Target (LS) carries the Troy, Alabama frame rollmark and Kimber part number 434036. Capacity is 7+1 rounds of .45 ACP using standard single-stack 1911 magazines.
