The 4150 CMV steel barrel is cold hammer-forged and Melonite treated, with a 1:7 RH twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56mm NATO projectiles. The non-reciprocating, ambidextrous, forward-mounted charging handle and ambidextrous safety support flexible handling.
Sighting and mounting options are integrated: a full-length Picatinny top rail with numbered reference marks, an elevation-adjustable flip-up front sight, and a windage-adjustable flip-up rear sight with a 5-aperture wheel. The polymer M-LOK handguard provides accessory mounting slots.
The adjustable (5-position) polymer stock with cheek riser and polymer receiver maintain a balanced, durable package. The rifle accepts STANAG/AR-pattern magazines and comes with both a 40-round and a 30-round magazine. Markings note Springfield Armory, Geneseo, IL, with HS Produkt / Made in Croatia.
