Constructed entirely of stainless steel, this Virginian Dragoon features a brushed stainless finish on the frame, barrel, cylinder, and receiver. The six-shot fluted cylinder and full-length ejector rod housing with a round-knurled ejector button reflect the model’s robust, purpose-built design.
The 8.375 in barrel provides a long sight radius, paired with adjustable iron sights: a ramped front and an adjustable square-notch rear. The barrel carries the factory rollmark "VIRGINIAN DRAGOON CAL. 44 MAGNUM," underscoring caliber and model authenticity.
It is a single-action revolver with a spurred hammer featuring a knurled spur for positive cocking. A transfer-bar safety is incorporated per factory practice, aligning with the model’s traditional yet safety-conscious layout.
Markings include "INTERARMS ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA, U.S.A.," patent number 3,803,741, and a sunburst emblem. A factory-engraved buttstrap banner plate bearing the model’s motto plate (text not legible) adds a distinctive touch. Produced in Midland, Virginia during the 1970s–1980s and discontinued in the mid-1980s, this example represents a finite production run.
Ergonomics are rounded out by smooth two-piece walnut grips with brass escutcheons. The heavy investment-cast frame (416 stainless on stainless models) supports the .44 Magnum chambering while maintaining the classic Virginian Dragoon profile.
