The Five-seveN USG is chambered in 5.7x28mm and uses a delayed-blowback, single-action system with an internal hammer. The 4.8 inch steel barrel and full-size format deliver the hallmark Five-seveN balance and controllability associated with this platform.
Controls are straightforward and duty-focused: a frame-mounted, ambidextrous manual safety with a red fire-dot indicator, and a left-side magazine release. The matte-black polymer frame carries molded checkering with the FN oval medallion for a secure grasp.
Sighting is handled by an adjustable rear and a white-dot front, giving the user clear, tunable alignment. A multi-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail on the dustcover accommodates compatible rail-mounted accessories.
Capacity is 20+1, and this pistol includes three 20-round magazines. The magazines feature 5/10/15/20 witness-hole markings for quick visual checks.
