The CS v3 is marked "STACCATO CS v3" on the dustcover, identifying the current iteration of this micro-format 2011. It is built around a toolless captured recoil system and is designed for 15-round magazines, providing a 15+1 capacity in 9mm Luger.
The bushingless, stainless steel bull barrel measures 3.5" and pairs with a 4140 steel tri-top slide. The slide features pronounced rear cocking serrations, forward lightening windows on both sides and top, and a lowered/flared ejection port for reliable extraction.
The frame is machined from 7075 aluminum alloy and wears a textured polymer grip module with the embossed Staccato star. Controls include ambidextrous thumb safeties and a beavertail grip safety with a memory pad. The skeletonized, curved trigger has relief cuts for a clean presentation.
Iron sights are installed: a green fiber-optic front and a black serrated square-notch rear for a crisp sight picture. Additional details include the Florence, Texas, USA roll mark and matching serial numbers on the frame and barrel hood. A U.S. flag is engraved on the right side of the frame above the trigger.
