Built on the AR-15 platform, this semi-automatic, direct-impingement SOLGW M4 is chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 30+1 capacity using STANAG-pattern magazines. The 16-inch barrel is threaded and capped with a multi-prong, helical-fluted muzzle device that is pinned and welded for an overall barrel length of 16 inches.
The SOLGW L89 free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard provides a rigid mounting base with an integral QD sling socket and a top rail. A continuous top rail offers straightforward alignment for optics and accessories. The rifle is finished in matte black with aluminum receivers featuring a matte black anodized finish.
Controls are set up for versatility, including an ambidextrous safety selector and an ambidextrous SOLGW-marked charging handle. Selector pictograms are present. Receiver markings include 'MODEL: M4' and 'CAL: MULTI', along with the SOLGW skull with crossed muskets crest.
