The CROSS uses a one-piece aluminum receiver/chassis for rigidity and alignment. A factory-installed, removable T-marked Picatinny rail on the receiver, secured with screws, provides a stable mounting surface, and the free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard allows accessory attachment without contacting the barrel. Made in the USA, this configuration emphasizes a lightweight, purpose-built design.
The 18 in stainless steel barrel is free-floated and factory-marked "6.5 CREEDMOOR 1/8." It has a 1:8 twist and a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle capped by a knurled thread protector. This setup supports precise bullet stabilization while protecting the threads when not in use.
A three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw and a right-side grooved cylindrical bolt knob delivers smooth, low-lift operation. The two-stage, externally adjustable trigger and ambidextrous thumb safety give the shooter fine control. The folding precision stock includes an adjustable cheek piece, adjustable butt assembly, and adjustable length of pull, with a skeletonized design for reduced weight; overall length is approximately 36.5 in extended and 27.5 in folded.
Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, the CROSS accepts AICS-pattern short-action magazines and has a maximum capacity of 10+1. The rifle includes one 10-round and one 5-round magazine; the included magazines are Magpul polymer AICS-pattern units marked 7.62x51.
