The Lite Free-Float Handguard configuration features a 13.5 in free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard with a docked top rail and slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, plus angled flats marked RUGER near the receiver. The flat-top upper includes a Picatinny rail, forward assist, dust cover, and case deflector.
The 16.10 in cold hammer-forged barrel uses 5-groove rifling with a 1:8 RH twist and M4 feed ramps. It is threaded 1/2x28 and factory-fitted with the Ruger radial-port muzzle brake for reduced muzzle movement.
Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish. The bolt is 9310 steel, and the 8620 carrier has a chrome-lined interior and gas key that is properly staked. The rifle uses a direct-impingement, semi-automatic action and accepts STANAG-pattern detachable magazines.
Controls and furniture include an ambidextrous safety selector and the Ruger Elite 452 two-stage trigger. The B5 Systems Bravo stock is a 6-position adjustable polymer unit on a mil-spec receiver extension with a QD socket and a staked castle nut.
