This Taurus PT 1911 AR is the rail-equipped variant of Taurus's full-size .45 ACP 1911, finished in matte stainless with a Government-length 5-inch hammer-forged barrel. It features matching serial numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel, and low-mount 3-dot sights. The pistol includes two 8-round magazines, the Taurus factory hard case and manual, and both the installed wraparound finger-groove grips and the original factory grip panels. Marked with TAURUS INT. MFG., INC.

The AR variant adds an integral Picatinny accessory rail on a standard-length dust cover with two cross-slots, providing a purpose-built mounting surface while retaining classic Government-length proportions. The rail stops short of the muzzle. Capacity is 8+1 with standard single-stack magazines.
Construction is all hammer-forged steel for the frame, slide, and barrel, finished in matte stainless. A checkered front strap and flat mainspring housing provide consistent traction and a traditional 1911 feel.
The single-action, recoil-operated system pairs a skeletonized three-hole trigger with a skeletonized Commander-style hammer. Safety features include a left-side manual thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory pad.
Slide details include forward and rear cocking serrations along with a lowered and flared ejection port. Sights are low-mount 3-dot units, with both front and rear dovetailed: a black front blade with a white dot and a matching rear with two white dots.
This example is customized with installed wraparound finger-groove grips featuring laminated wood panels, and it also comes with the original Taurus black checkered grip panels. It bears matching serial numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel, with import markings reflecting manufacture by Forjas Taurus in Brazil and import by Taurus International in Miami, Florida.
