The Pro-length 4.0-inch barrel is a stainless, bushingless, match-grade bull design that is coned and fitted directly to the slide. This setup aligns with Kimber’s Pro series approach to a compact 1911 while maintaining match-grade barrel construction.
The frame is a lightweight aluminum alloy finished in matte silver, matched to a dark matte slide for a two-tone appearance. Controls include a left-side thumb safety and slide stop, a beavertail grip safety with a raised pad, and a checkered mainspring housing with a smooth frontstrap and a beveled magazine well lip.
Slide details include rear cocking serrations only and a lowered/flared ejection port. The pistol uses fixed, low-profile dovetail sights front and rear. It is a single-action 1911 with an 8+1 capacity.
Factory Crimson Trace Lasergrips provide an integrated red laser on rosewood-colored double-diamond panels. The pistol features a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized aluminum three-hole trigger. Per factory specification, empty weight is approximately 28 oz. Made in the USA.
