The Monastor G12 pairs AR-12 ergonomics with a gas-operated, semi-automatic system and a detachable box-magazine design. The stated 5+1 capacity and 18.5 in barrel deliver a compact, magazine-fed configuration in 12 gauge with a ported tubular muzzle attachment.
Controls are laid out for intuitive use, including a left-side bolt catch, a right-side magazine release, and a two-position safety with S/F indicators. The right-side, reciprocating charging handle uses a cylindrical, ported knob for positive purchase.
The polymer stock is telescoping and adjustable, capped with a rubberized buttpad. A polymer pistol grip with finger grooves and a molded "USA" mark at the heel rounds out the furniture. Length of pull is 12.5 in, and the overall finish is matte black on the receiver and exterior surfaces.
The extended, vented handguard includes accessory slots and short Picatinny sections near the gas block. A full-length top Picatinny rail spans the receiver and handguard, and the shotgun is delivered with U.S.-market branding via Akdal Arms LLC on the receiver and packaging.
