The 16-inch government-profile barrel is chrome-lined, cold-hammer-forged CMV steel with a phosphate coating and a 1:7 twist to stabilize a broad range of 5.56 NATO projectiles. The barrel is threaded for muzzle device compatibility.
A free-floated Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 M-LOK handguard (6061-T6 aluminum) provides ample mounting space and heat dissipation, with a continuous T-marked top rail that mates cleanly to the flat-top upper.
The rifle uses a semi-automatic, direct impingement system with a mid-length gas setup. It includes a DD-marked bolt carrier and a DD ambidextrous charging handle for confident, user-friendly manipulation.
Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized black finish. Furniture includes a collapsible black polymer stock and a Magpul pistol grip, and controls include a manual safety selector. The flat-top upper features a forward assist and an ejection-port dust cover.
