The PSAK-74S follows the AK-74 pattern with a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system and a 90-degree gas block. Its stamped, riveted steel receiver and matte black finish deliver the correct AK profile with modern U.S. manufacturing.
The factory steel triangle side-folding stock uses a push-button latch and includes a rear sling loop. It pairs with black polymer AK-pattern handguards and a black polymer pistol grip. Length of pull is 12.5 inches.
Sighting is traditional, with a drift- and elevation-adjustable front post and a tangent rear sight leaf. A left-side optics side rail is installed for mounting compatible side-rail optics. The rifle also retains an installed cleaning rod and a bayonet lug.
At the muzzle, the AK-74 two-chamber brake is mounted on the 24mm front sight base. Capacity is 30+1, and one 30-round polymer AK-74 pattern magazine is included. Matching assembly numbers are present on the top cover, bolt carrier, and trunnion area.
