Controls include an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker and a spurred hammer. The FS slide-retention system with the enlarged hammer pin is present, adding the factory safety upgrade associated with the FS designation.
The frame is a black anodized aluminum alloy with a full-size grip, lanyard loop at the heel, and black checkered polymer panels featuring Beretta medallions. The 4.9 inch steel barrel is paired with fixed sights for a straightforward sight picture.
Sighting consists of an integral front blade with a white dot and a dovetailed rear notch. Markings include Italian proof/inspection stamps, the BERETTA USA CORP., ACKK., MD. importer mark, and "PIETRO BERETTA GARDONE V.T. - MADE IN ITALY," confirming its Italian manufacture and import.
