This Prime Elite is built on a forged 4140 steel frame with a rich blued finish, paired to a blued slide that carries rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and dovetailed sights. ACW manufacturer markings are present on the slide and frame, and the barrel hood is marked with the ACW logo and "45 ACP."
The 5-inch Government-length, match-grade stainless barrel is fit with a traditional bushing and finished with a flush-cut, recessed crown. ACW specs this model line with a 1.5-inch accuracy guarantee at 25 yards; included is the factory 25-yard test target dated February 27, 2021 with Aguila 185 JHP noted.
Ergonomics and control features include a beavertail grip safety, a single-side extended thumb safety, and a Commander/rowel-style hammer. The front strap is checkered, the mainspring housing is flat, and the frame is high-cut under the trigger guard for a higher grip. A one-piece extended, blended magwell funnel speeds reloads.
Sight picture is clean and traditional with a black dovetailed front blade and a plain black rear, both set into the slide. The pistol wears checkered brown wood grips, and it ships with two 8-round magazines for a total on-board capacity of 8+1.
