This Boombox is a factory-configured short-barreled rifle (NFA item). It uses a large-frame AR receiver set with billet-style machining and omits both the forward assist and the ejection-port cover, yielding a clean profile. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the selectors and charging handle, with an oversized left-side bolt catch/release for quick manipulation.
The 12-inch barrel is capped with a cylindrical multi-port muzzle device. Up top, a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail runs the receiver and handguard, while the free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides extensive slotting and lightening windows for accessory placement and weight reduction. Polymer flip-up sights are installed.
Q’s telescoping two-rod stock offers a compact footprint with an approximate length-of-pull range from 8.5 to 13 inches. The stock uses a right-side latch and includes a textured polymer buttpad. The rifle’s two-tone finish pairs a light metallic sand/champagne frame with dark gray furniture for a distinctive, modern look.
Chambered in 8.6 Blackout, the rifle accepts SR-25/LR-308 pattern magazines; the included Magpul PMAG is marked 7.62x51. Additional details include the magwell’s New Hampshire outline with the "LIVE FREE OR DIE" motto, the model marking "BOOMBOX," and maker location noted as Dover, NH. Built on the AR-10 direct-impingement platform, it retains familiar ergonomics with a flat-faced trigger and ambidextrous charging handle.
