The M77-based action provides controlled-round feed with a large Mauser-style claw extractor and a three-position safety. A paddle-style magazine release controls the detachable box magazine system, and capacity is 4+1.
The 16 inch alloy steel barrel is cold hammer-forged with a medium contour and matte black oxide finish. It is threaded 11/16"-24 and fitted with a factory muzzle brake. The twist rate is 1:16.
Iron sights include a receiver-mounted ghost-ring rear with protective wings and a wing-protected front post on a barrel band. Up top, a forward Picatinny scout rail is installed, and the receiver also has Ruger integral scope-ring cuts.
The American walnut stock features bordered cut checkering, sling swivel studs, and crossbolts. Length of pull is spacer-adjustable and set at approximately 13.25 inches. Factory weight is approximately 6.6 lb.
