The 18.43" round steel barrel is hard-chrome plated and cut with a 1:20 RH twist suitable for a broad range of .45-70 loads. An oversized large-loop lever provides generous clearance for gloved hands and smooth cycling. Length of pull is 14.25, overall length is 37.5 in, and weight is approximately 7.08 lb, aided by a ventilated rubber recoil pad for comfortable shooting.
Iron sights include a ramp-mounted front sight and an adjustable rear sight, offering fast, practical alignment.
