This Japanese-made B.C. Miroku Model 700 Field Grade was produced approximately between 1967 and 1969 and represents the pre-Citori era of Miroku over/unders. It is a 12 gauge with 28-inch vent-rib barrels and fixed Full/Modified chokes, factory floral-scroll engraving, and a single gold-colored trigger. The shotgun is in good condition and in proper working order.

    What's Included
    • B.C. Miroku Model 700 Field Grade 12 gauge over/under shotgun

This over/under features a break-action layout with 28-inch barrels, a ventilated rib, and bead sights. It uses a fixed choke pairing of Full and Modified and is chambered for 2.75-inch shells. The shotgun has a 2-round capacity and a top-tang sliding safety with a single trigger.

The Field Grade configuration includes a checkered walnut pistol-grip stock and a beavertail fore-end, paired with a solid gray rubber recoil pad. Length of pull measures 13.8 inches. Metal surfaces carry a blued finish, including the receiver.

Factory floral-scroll engraving appears on the receiver, top lever, and trigger guard tang, complemented by a gold-colored single trigger. Together, these details give the Model 700 Field Grade a classic, purposeful presentation.

Markings on the barrel flats include proof/inspection stamps such as NP over 12, MOD 70%, and a circular SP-style mark. The barrels also show a European-market inscription, "GEBR. GLUNZ, H[?]." Matching serial numbers were observed on the receiver, forend iron/wood, and barrel set, consistent with original assembly from this period.

As a representative pre-Citori era B.C. Miroku over/under, this Model 700 combines straightforward field features with reliable Japanese manufacturing from the late 1960s. It is in good condition and operates properly.
