The 30S configuration is notable for its hybrid slim slide, unique to this model, paired with a compact .45 ACP frame. This setup provides a thinner slide profile while maintaining the 10+1 capacity associated with the platform.
The Gen 3 Short Frame (SF) reduces trigger reach and includes the molded SF cartouche on the frame. The black polymer frame carries an integral single-slot accessory rail, and the matte black slide has rear serrations for confident manipulation.
Sighting is handled by fixed 3-dot units with AP/AP2 markings. Rollmarks include "GLOCK 30S AUSTRIA .45 Auto" on the slide, and the frame bears "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." import markings, confirming Austrian manufacture.
The pistol uses Glock's striker-fired Safe Action system and is chambered in .45 ACP. It features a 3.78 in barrel and ships with one factory 10-round magazine.
