The 24-inch barrel is 416R stainless steel with a sporter contour and a hand-lapped chamber, tailored for the 6.5 PRC cartridge. It is threaded and fitted with a radial muzzle brake to help manage recoil, and it uses a 1:8 twist suitable for modern 6.5mm projectiles.
The carbon-fiber composite stock is finished black with a light gray web and includes a right-hand palm swell. Invar pillars and spot bedding support consistent action stability, while a Limbsaver recoil pad and two sling swivel studs round out the field-ready setup.
The receiver carries "MODEL 14" and "CHRISTENSEN ARMS GUNNISON, UT USA" markings with the company logo, and the barrel is marked "Mesa 6.5 PRC 1-8." The bolt body is spiral-fluted, and the rifle feeds from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate engraved "CHRISTENSEN" for a 4+1 capacity.
Metalwork wears a uniform matte light gray finish. The rifle has no iron sights and comes with a one-piece Picatinny scope base installed. It follows a Remington 700 footprint for optics bases and bottom metal compatibility. Built in the USA, this Mesa is clean and well-kept throughout.
