The GSG-922 is a compact, blowback-operated, single-action-only .22 LR built on a 1911-style platform. It uses a 3.4-inch barrel and a 10+1 capacity, pairing familiar 1911 ergonomics with economical rimfire shooting. The arched mainspring housing and checkered synthetic grips provide a secure, consistent hold.
Controls and safety systems include a manual thumb safety, grip safety, firing pin block, disconnector, and magazine disconnect. A skeletonized 3-hole trigger and skeletonized loop hammer complete the 1911-inspired control layout.
Sighting is straightforward, with a front blade and a rear sight arrangement as configured. The slide incorporates front and rear cocking serrations and a sighting rib, with a compact sight radius for precise alignment.
An integral Picatinny accessory rail is machined into the frame, and this pistol arrives with an Inforce pistol light already installed. This setup makes the most of the compact format while maintaining fast handling at approximately 31.6 oz and an overall length of about 7.0 inches.
Made in Germany and imported by American Tactical (ATI), the pistol bears German/CIP proof marks, an AMERICAN TACTICAL logo, and a MADE IN GERMANY mark. The slide is marked ".22 LR HV," aligning with its .22 Long Rifle chambering and high-velocity designation.
