Built by Izhmash in Russia, this Saiga-M M2 uses a stamped AK-pattern receiver with the standard top cover and rivet layout. The action is the classic long-stroke gas piston system. The receiver wears a matte black finish and carries dual-language model and caliber markings.
The 22-inch barrel is crowned and non-threaded, paired with AK-pattern iron sights: a hooded front post painted green and a tangent rear sight. Sling swivels are mounted beneath the fore-end and buttstock for traditional carry.
The orthopedic thumbhole wood stock includes a raised cheekpiece and a ventilated rubber buttpad, offering a 13.75-inch length of pull. An elongated, one-piece wooden fore-end completes the classic Saiga-M profile.
Markings include the "MADE IN RUSSIA" receiver line, the Izhmash triangle-with-arrow arsenal emblem, Russian proof/acceptance symbols, and an '08 year stamp. The selector positions are clearly marked on the receiver. The rifle feeds from detachable box magazines; included are three 30-round ProMag Saiga .223 waffle-pattern magazines and one 10-round magazine. Stated capacity is 30+1.
