Product Description

Colt Single Action Army 1st Generation .32-20 WCF, 5.5 in Barrel (1907) - Smokeless Frame, Bullseye Ejector

This 1907 First-Generation Colt Single Action Army is chambered in the less common .32-20 WCF and built on a smokeless-frame with a transverse base-pin latch. It features a round bullseye ejector-rod head, fixed blade front sight with topstrap groove rear, and black checkered hard-rubber grips with molded Rampant Colt in oval panels. Matching serial numbers are observed on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap, with an internal assembly number on the loading gate.

    Condition

    Overall Condition: Poor condition.

Bore Overall Condition: Fair - Generally clean, some residue or smudges, slight corrosion.

Bore Rifling: Fair Rifling - Worn rifling, slight loss of definition.

Specific Condition Notes: There is heavy pitting across the barrel and frame. This revolver is currently inoperable and is not safe to fire. The loading gate is loose. With the loading gate engaged and the hammer not at half-cock, the cylinder free-spins clockwise. The bottom screws are missing.

    Sold as is.

    What's Included
    • Colt Single Action Army First-Generation revolver chambered in .32-20 Win.

Built during the First Generation (1873-1940), this SAA retains period-correct features including the smokeless-era frame with transverse base-pin latch and the classic fluted six-chamber cylinder. The 5.5 in barrel length balances well for a full-size SAA profile.

Chambering is .32-20 WCF, a less common caliber for First-Generation SAAs and of interest to collectors focused on variant chamberings. Capacity is six rounds, with a single-action-only mechanism and an exposed hammer with a knurled spur.

Factory-style markings include two-line patent dates with the Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the frame and a one-line barrel address on top. The loading gate bears an internal assembly number, and matching serial numbers are observed on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap.

Sighting is traditional, with a fixed blade front and a topstrap groove rear. Original-style black checkered two-piece hard-rubber grips with molded Rampant Colt in oval panels complete the classic First-Generation configuration.
