The steel frame gives this Q5 Match SF a solid, balanced feel, complemented by an extended beavertail, an undercut trigger guard, and front and backstrap checkering. Textured grip panels secured by screws provide a consistent hold, and the matte black finish on the frame and slide completes the clean presentation.
The 5-inch steel barrel is Tenifer-treated, and the slide features lightening cuts plus an optics cut with a removable plate. A red fiber-optic front sight pairs with a fully adjustable target rear sight that is installed on the cover plate for precise sight alignment.
Built on a striker-fired action, it uses Walther's Quick Defense curved trigger with a short reset and a trigger safety. The push-button magazine release is positioned on the left side. Capacity is 15+1 rounds of 9mm Luger, and the pistol uses a Browning-type tilting-barrel system.
A 5-slot MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail on the dust cover supports accessory mounting. This example carries German DE CIP N proofs with import marks from Walther Arms, Fort Smith, AR, and "CARL WALTHER ULM/DO., GERMANY" rollmarks. The frame, slide, and barrel have matching serials.
