It pairs a compact-length slide with a full-size Government-length grip frame and includes the Series II firing pin block, premium controls, and fixed 3-dot sights. Marked "PRO RAPTOR II" and "CUSTOM SHOP" on the slide, and "KIMBER, YONKERS, NY U.S.A." on the frame.

Built in Kimber’s Custom Shop, the Pro Raptor II showcases distinctive "raptor-scale" treatments: scalloped cocking serrations at the front and rear of the slide, matching scalloped panels along the top of the slide, and corresponding texturing on the front strap and mainspring housing. Factory roll marks include "PRO RAPTOR II" and "CUSTOM SHOP" on the slide.
It uses a 4-inch bushingless, match-grade stainless steel bull barrel with a full-length guide rod. This Pro-size upper is matched to a full-size Government-length grip frame, offering 8+1 capacity with standard single-stack 1911 magazines.
The action is single-action with a skeletonized three-hole trigger and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer. Safety features include a manual thumb safety, an extended beavertail grip safety with memory bump, and a Series II (Swartz-type) firing pin block.
Sights are fixed 3-dot, with a ramped front and a low-profile square-notch rear. The carbon steel slide and frame wear a matte black KimPro II finish, and the ejection port is lowered and flared. The pistol is fitted with wood grips with Kimber 'Raptor-scale' (scalloped) pattern and Kimber medallions. There is no accessory rail.
