This Freedom Ordnance FX-9 Pistol pairs a compact 4.5 inch 4150 chromoly steel, nitride-treated barrel with a robust AR-9 platform built on billet-machined aluminum receivers. It accepts double-stack Glock-pattern 9mm magazines and features a last-round bolt hold-open, a left-side charging handle, and a short free-float M-LOK handguard with a receiver Picatinny rail and a full-length Picatinny rail atop the handguard. Factory configuration includes a cylindrical muzzle device and an SB Tactical adjustable arm brace.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

The FX-9 operates on a straight-blowback, semi-automatic system and is configured for right-side ejection. Controls are straightforward, with a standard magazine release and a manual safety. The left-side charging handle offers fast manipulation while keeping the top rail clear.
The 4.5 inch barrel is made from 4150 chromoly steel and finished in nitride for durability. It is threaded 1/2x28 and ships with a cylindrical muzzle device installed. Manufacturer guidance specifies using only 9mm-rated muzzle devices and avoiding aluminum-cased ammunition.
Receivers are billet-machined aluminum with a black hard-coat anodized finish. The short free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard keeps weight forward of the chamber minimal, and the upper receiver has a Picatinny rail, with a full-length 12 o’clock Picatinny rail atop the handguard. The A2-style polymer pistol grip provides a familiar feel.
This pistol is built to run double-stack Glock-pattern 9mm magazines and includes last-round bolt hold-open functionality. It comes outfitted with an SB Tactical adjustable arm brace, and an additional fixed blade-style brace is included in the box for alternate setup preferences. Made in the United States, this model is the FX9P4 configuration.
