The PPQ M2 .22 LR uses a semi-automatic blowback action with a 4-inch barrel and 10+1 capacity. The aluminum-alloy slide and polymer frame keep weight to approximately 20.8 oz, with an overall length of about 7.1 inches.
Controls are set up for versatility, with ambidextrous slide stop levers and a reversible push-button magazine release. The PPQ-pattern texturing and a fixed, non-interchangeable backstrap provide a comfortable, secure grip. A bladed trigger incorporates a trigger safety, and the pistol also features a drop safety.
Sighting is straightforward and adjustable, with a screw-adjustable rear sight and a screw-retained front sight. A loaded chamber inspection port provides a quick visual status check.
The molded Picatinny-style dust-cover rail with three slots supports common accessories. Finish is matte black on the slide with a black polymer frame.
