The Witness 2311C uses a hybrid 2011-style, double-stack 1911 architecture. It features a steel receiver finished in matte black with a polymer grip module and a flared magazine well for smooth reloads. The Commander-length 4.25-inch barrel retains the traditional M1911 bushing and plug with a full-length guide rod.
The slide is matte black with front and rear cocking serrations and a Shield/RMS-pattern optics cut. Controls include a left-side magazine release, ambidextrous thumb safety, and a grip safety with a memory pad. A skeletonized, lightened trigger and skeletonized hammer round out the handling features.
Sighting is handled by a white-dot front sight in a dovetail and the included EAA FAR-DOT micro red dot (solar-assisted) installed in the rear-sight position. In this configuration, there is no separate rear iron sight.
The double-stack magazine provides a 15+1 capacity in 10mm. The magazine body has witness holes numbered 5/10/15, and the pistol accepts standard double-stack 1911-pattern magazines. An integral full-length Picatinny accessory rail is machined into the dust cover for mounting compatible lights or accessories.
