The 3-inch barrel uses a heavy profile and full-length ejector-rod shroud, adding front-end stability while maintaining compact dimensions. Chambered in .327 Federal Magnum, the cylinder also accepts .32 H&R Magnum and .32 S&W Long, giving the shooter flexible ammunition options in a small-frame, 6-round format.
The double-action-only system features an exposed hammer with a checkered spur. Its steel frame and cylinder wear a matte black finish, and the factory-installed black rubber finger-groove grip with pebble texturing provides a secure hold.
Sighting is straightforward: a fixed rear notch in the topstrap and a pinned AmeriGlo tritium front sight with an orange outline for low-light visibility (front sight marked AmeriGlo H3 1N). The T.O.R.O. topstrap is drilled and tapped for RMSc/Holosun-K footprint micro red dots, offering a direct mounting path when a dot is desired.
Markings include Taurus Int'l Mfg, Bainbridge, GA., and Taurus Armas – Made in Brazil. The frame is coded 327 CH. This is a recent-release configuration in the Taurus lineup, aligning modern sighting options with a compact .327 platform.
