It features an 18.5" barrel with Benelli/Mobil-pattern interchangeable chokes (Cylinder, Modified, and Full options), a 3" chamber, and a full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail. The TAR 12 runs a gas-operated, rotating-bolt system and feeds from detachable box magazines, with capacity listed at 5+1. The magazine interface is compatible with T1919/MKA-1919 pattern magazines, giving users flexibility with commonly available AR-style shotgun mags.
The 18.5" barrel is threaded for Benelli/Mobil-pattern choke tubes and supports Cylinder, Modified, and Full choke options. Its 3" chamber provides broad shotshell compatibility within that length range. The bore is bright and clean.
Controls and ergonomics mirror the AR pattern, including a right-side extended charging handle for positive operation. The setup uses a separate AR-style pistol grip and a black polymer, telescoping carbine-style buttstock with a rubberized buttpad, providing a 14.0" length of pull.
Up top, a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail runs the receiver, and the polymer ventilated handguard adds short accessory rails for lights or other add-ons. Polymer flip-up front and rear sights are included. The receiver wears a light metallic finish, complementing the two-tone look. This shotgun is made in Turkey and bears the TOKAREV Knoxville TN import mark.
