The upper is a flat-top with T-marked Picatinny rail (T12–T28 visible), and the receivers are aluminum with a hard-coat anodized finish. Standard AR-15 controls include the forward assist, dust cover, case deflector, and a manual safety with a standard magazine release.
The 16-inch M4-profile barrel features the correct M203 step and a carbine-length gas system. Its A2 flash suppressor is pinned and welded, providing a permanent muzzle device as noted.
