The AUG/A3 M1 retains the proven bullpup layout in 5.56mm NATO with a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston system and a user-adjustable gas regulator. Its 16 inch steel barrel is heavy profile, quick-change, and capped with a flash hider for a robust, duty-ready configuration.
The receiver is investment-cast aluminum with an Eloxal coating, paired to a tan/brown polymer stock with an integral pistol grip and an integrated vertical foregrip. Controls include a left-side, non-reciprocating charging handle and a cross-bolt safety. Capacity is 30+1, and overall length is approximately 28.15 inches with a 15.0 inch length of pull.
The High Rail configuration provides a receiver-length High Rail Picatinny top rail on the receiver, complemented by a right-side accessory rail. Sling attachment is supported by a front sling loop/QD ring and a rear sling point, offering straightforward carry options.
