The 16.5 in barrel is CrMoV steel, cold-hammer-forged, and chrome-lined for durability and service life. It uses a 1:7 RH twist to stabilize common 5.56 projectiles and is threaded at the muzzle with an A2-style flash hider installed.
The action is a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt. Controls include an ambidextrous safety selector and a left-side, forward-mounted charging handle for efficient manipulation.
The reinforced polymer chassis is finished in Flat Dark Earth and paired with a vented polymer forend. Removable cover panels reveal provisions for accessory rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, and a forward handstop lip is integrated into the forend. Length of pull is 15.0 in.
Sighting equipment includes integral folding iron sights, with a folding front blade that has a tritium insert and a folding rear aperture. A full-length 12 o’clock Picatinny rail runs the top of the rifle. Magazine interface is NATO STANAG, and capacity is 30+1.
