The Gen5 feature set includes the Glock Marksman Barrel with revised crown and polygonal rifling, an nDLC slide finish, and ambidextrous slide stop levers. Front and rear slide serrations and beveled front slide edges aid manipulation, and the slide is configured with no optic cut.
Sights are fixed, contrast-type, with a 5.91 in sight radius. The pistol uses Glock's Safe Action system and a striker-fired action.
The polymer frame has Glock's square-pattern grip texture and is compatible with the Modular Backstrap System; interchangeable beavertail backstraps are included. An accessory rail with a single slot on the dust cover supports weapon-mounted lights or lasers.
