Built in 1972 in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy, this AL2 carries Beretta’s hallmark markings: “P. BERETTA – GARDONE V.T.” and “Made in Italy.” Italian proof marks (FINITO, PSF) are present at the barrel/receiver junction. The receiver shows scroll engraving on coin-finished side panels with blued top and bottom surfaces.
The action is a gas-operated semi-automatic, chambered for 2 3/4-inch 12 gauge with a 3+1 capacity. It has right-side ejection with a bright-finished bolt, a cross-bolt safety with a red indicator, and a gold-colored trigger.
