What’s Included
- FIE Remington New Model Army .44 black powder percussion revolver
This reproduction follows the Remington New Model Army pattern with a single-action-only mechanism and cap-and-ball percussion. The unfluted 6-shot cylinder includes safety notches between chambers, and the under-barrel loading lever with captive base pin supports traditional operation.
Build and materials are faithful to the classic design: a steel barrel and frame with a blued finish, complemented by a brass trigger guard and two-piece varnished hardwood grips. The 8-inch octagonal barrel provides a long sight radius in a traditional profile.
Fixed sights consist of a post front and a groove rear. The barrel is marked "BLACK POWDER ONLY." Markings include an FIE ITALY import stamp on the buttstrap and Italian proof marks on the left side of the frame.
Made in Italy in 1981 and imported by Firearms Import Export Corp, this 1980s-era reproduction presents the lines and handling of the Civil War-period Remington in a modern black powder configuration.
