What’s Included
- Smith & Wesson 32-20 Hand Ejector Model of 1905 revolver
- Pearlescent two-piece grip panels (aftermarket, installed; square-butt profile)
Built on the classic S&W K-frame Hand Ejector pattern, this Model of 1905, 4th Change variant combines a 6-inch carbon steel barrel with a swing-out, fluted six-shot cylinder and star extractor. It is chambered in .32-20 Winchester and uses S&W’s pre-war long-action lockwork with an exposed hammer for double-action and single-action operation.
The revolver retains a bright nickel finish over the carbon steel frame, barrel, and cylinder. The plating presents well overall; documentation of factory application is not provided. The configuration includes an unshrouded ejector rod with the early mushroom/knurled head characteristic of this period.
Sights are fixed, with a half-moon front blade and a topstrap notch rear, matching the period-correct setup for the Model of 1905. The grip frame is a square-butt; it currently wears aftermarket pearlescent two-piece stocks that present a square-butt profile, without S&W medallions.
Markings include "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side of the barrel, "32-20 CTG." on the right, and the multi-line address/patent legend on the barrel top. The right side of the frame shows the S&W round trademark logo and "MADE IN U.S.A." An assembly number is present on the yoke cut, with the serial number located on the butt.
