The P90DC is the decocker-only variant of Ruger’s P90 series, offering DA/SA operation with a short-recoil, tilting-barrel system and an internal firing-pin block. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP, and the full-size frame pairs with a 4.5-inch barrel for a stable sight radius and controllable handling.
Construction is robust and purpose-driven: a stainless steel slide rides on a hard-coat anodized aluminum-alloy frame, producing a durable stainless/gray two-tone finish (black grips). The slide carries decocker levers, and the open-top slide window is a hallmark of the design.
Sight alignment is straightforward with fixed 3-dot sights, using a pinned white-dot front and a drift-adjustable, dovetailed rear with white dots. Controls include a left-side push-button magazine release and an external spurred hammer, and the frame incorporates an integral lanyard loop.
Ergonomics are supported by a one-piece black synthetic grip panel with Ruger medallion. This example was manufactured in 1993 in the United States and arrives with its original case and manual, plus two factory 8-round magazines.
