What's Included
- Armas Ugartechea Falcon 12 Gauge side-by-side shotgun
The Falcon is built on a break-action Anson & Deeley–type boxlock with Scott-type top extension locking (hidden third fastener) that engages a rectangular bite in the rib extension ('doll's head'), a hallmark feature on this model. The watertable is marked 'FALCON.' The serial number 78468 appears on the watertable and barrel flats; the forend is stamped 468 (last three of the serial). A separate assembly/fitter code 154 appears on the right barrel lug.
The 28-inch steel barrels wear a concave, matted top rib and a rib extension. Chambers are 3 inches (12-76), and the choke star markings are legible: one tube is marked * (Full) and the other *** (1/2, Modified) under the Spanish/CIP system.
Walnut furniture includes a semi-pistol (Prince of Wales) grip with a white-line buttplate/spacer and a splinter forend with point/double-diamond checkering. Barrels are blued; the receiver was originally color case-hardened and now presents mostly patinated silver/grey with worn remnants of case colors, with factory light scroll and border engraving on the boxlock receiver.
Spanish Eibar proof marks are present, along with '12-76' chamber-length and '18.5 mm' bore diameter stamps, and 'CHOKE' with star symbols, aligning the gun with its Spanish proof standards and configuration details.
