The IC-DI platform pairs LWRCI's Monoforge upper with a one-piece free-float M-LOK handguard and a continuous Picatinny top rail. The result is a solid, well-integrated AR-15 configuration with ambidextrous controls on the lower receiver, including bolt catch/release and magazine controls on both sides.
Its 16-inch barrel is spiral-fluted, cold-hammer-forged, and NiCorr-treated, with a threaded muzzle and an A2-style flash hider. The direct-impingement action delivers the IC-DI series' intended handling characteristics in 5.56mm NATO.
The rifle is finished in Flat Dark Earth on the receivers and is equipped with LWRCI's Compact 6-position adjustable stock and an LWRCI-branded textured polymer pistol grip. Length of pull is 12.75 inches. A tan BCM M-LOK vertical foregrip is installed for added front-end control.
California-compliance considerations are supported by the installed CA-compliant fixed-mag style magazine-release device, using an ambidextrous extended/hinged assembly. Capacity is set at 10+1 with the included Magpul PMAG GEN M3 10-round magazine.
