What’s Included
- Ruger No.1 .375 H&H Mag single-shot rifle as described
The Ruger No.1 uses a robust, underlever-operated falling-block action with a tang safety. This configuration offers a compact, balanced profile with the strength associated with the design. The barrel and quarter rib are polished and blued steel; the receiver and much of the lever are in-the-white due to loss of bluing.
The 24 inch barrel is topped by a quarter rib that carries an adjustable folding rear leaf sight and provides integral Ruger ring-cut bases. Up front, a banded ramp with a blade front sight completes the iron sight set.
The rifle retains the maker and model rollmarks: "RUGER No.1" and "STURM, RUGER & CO., INC., SOUTHPORT, CONN., U.S.A." Capacity is 1 round. Country of origin is the USA, and this example dates to the late 1970s era with a documented manufacture year of 1979.
The walnut stock and forend are checkered. A barrel-band front sling-swivel stud and a rear sling-swivel stud in the buttstock are installed. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches. This example is customized with a Pachmayr "White Line" ventilated rubber recoil pad and a matching white-line spacer.
