The SW1911 pairs a 5" bushing barrel with a matte stainless slide and frame, delivering the classic full-size 1911 format in durable stainless steel. The build centers on a single-action-only system with a clean, 1911-style trigger and a commander-style skeletonized hammer.
Ergonomics and control features include a manual thumb safety and a grip safety with memory pad, a skeletonized three-hole trigger, and checkering where it matters. The front strap and flat mainspring housing are both checkered, and the beveled magazine well speeds reloads. Checkered hardwood double-diamond grips complete the traditional 1911 feel.
The slide is set up for practical handling and reliable function, with front and rear cocking serrations, an external extractor, and a lowered and flared ejection port. Sights consist of a black front blade in a dovetail and a fully adjustable rear sight with a micro-click elevation screw; the rear blade carries the S&W logo.
