The G44 pairs Glock's familiar ergonomics with economical .22 LR, making it a notable model as the first Glock in this caliber. Its simple blowback action is tuned for rimfire reliability, and the compact size offers a balance of control and portability.
The hybrid polymer–steel slide reduces reciprocating mass while retaining steel where it matters. Steel components wear a black nDLC finish, and the slide features both front and rear cocking serrations for positive manipulation.
The 4.02 in steel barrel uses a 1:16 RH twist. Adjustable polymer sights (windage and elevation) combine with a white-dot polymer front and a 6.22 in sight radius for clear sighting and straightforward zeroing.
The black polymer frame carries Gen5-style stippling, no finger grooves, and a slight magwell flare. An integral accessory rail is present for mounting compatible lights or accessories.
Operation is striker-fired blowback with Glock's Safe Action system and trigger safety. Capacity is 10+1 rounds. US proof symbols are present on the barrel hood, and this example was made in the USA (Smyrna, GA).
