Tisas 1911 A1 U.S. Army .45 ACP, 5 in, Matte Gray Cerakote, Cold Hammer Forged Barrel
This full-size Tisas 1911 A1 U.S. Army is a recent, GI-style reproduction built on a steel frame and slide with a matte gray Cerakote finish. It features a cold hammer forged 5-inch barrel, Series 70-pattern lockwork, and U.S. military-style rollmarks. Condition is very good, and the bore is excellent with a mirror-bright finish.
Authentic A1 details include the arched mainspring housing with lanyard loop, A1 trigger relief cuts, a short solid trigger, and a spur hammer. The pistol uses a traditional GI recoil system with a solid barrel bushing and short guide rod, and retains a non-lowered ejection port with rear vertical slide serrations.
Fixed GI sights consist of a small blade front and a square-notch rear. Safety features are true to form with a manual thumb safety, a grip safety, and a half-cock notch. The pistol ships with checkered double-diamond wood grips installed and includes spare GI-style brown plastic grip panels.
Construction is all-steel with matching matte gray Cerakote on the frame and slide. Capacity is 7+1 in .45 ACP, and two 7-round steel single-stack magazines are included. Markings include TISAS KNOXVILLE, TN, ZIG M1911 TISAS MADE IN TURKEY, along with UNITED STATES PROPERTY and M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY rollmarks.
